Generally, the bank examinations are conducted by the following Recruitment Authorities.
- R.B.I. : India’s Central Bank recruits through its Recruitment Board for the post of R.B.I. Assistance & R.B.I. Grande B, an online exam is been conducted in Phrase I which is followed by Interview in Phrase II.
- IBPS: A series of Common Written Examinations (CWEs) conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a prerequisite for the selection of personnel for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee / Clerk / Specialist Officer posts in 22 Public Sector banks (IDBI is new entrant) and for Officers and Office Assistants in 54 Regional Rural Banks (RRB’s) followed by common Interview.
- S.B.I.: Online Examination is been conducted by SBI and SBI Associate banks for recruitment to the posts of clerks, Probationary Officer (P.O.), Specialist Officer (S.O.) followed by Interview.
